Born on 15th June 1987, he holds a Degree in Civil Engineering and serves as the Chairman of SR Group of Companies and SR Shining Odisha Foundation (SSOF) — Sambhabana Trust. Since 2008, he has built a diversified business empire spanning manufacturing, FMCG, dairy, construction, and energy sectors, including fuel retail outlets under Indian Oil and Jio-BP on NH-16, Balasore — generating employment and driving economic growth across the region.
A deeply committed humanitarian, he has led relief efforts during the Fani Cyclone 2019 and the COVID-19 pandemic, supported local hospitals with oxygen concentrators, and has been a regular blood donor since 2005. My Political Activities
Er. Rajesh Kumar Mohakud embarked on his political journey in 2022, contesting as a Zilla Parishad Member under the BJP banner in the Khaira Block Panchayat Election, narrowly missing victory by a slim margin of 487 votes. Undeterred, he continued to serve his constituents with dedication, regularly visiting villages, addressing local issues, and working tirelessly within the party framework. His commitment and grassroots connect were recognized in the 2024 General Elections, where he led a remarkable campaign across 37 Panchayats of the Simulia constituency, delivering a block-level lead of 3,900 votes. Entrusted with key responsibilities, he was appointed Tour In-charge for both the Bhadrak Lok Sabha and Simulia MLA candidates by the party. Currently serving as the State Treasurer of BJYM, BJP Odisha Pradesh and as Cluster In-charge for North Odisha, Er. Mohakud continues to be a dedicated, ground-level political force, committed to his party, his people, and the progress of Odisha.
